Granular, anhydrous calcium nitrate is used as an additive in concrete, as fertilizer for the preparation of the brine in refrigeration, in the production of reagents, glass-reinforced plastics, as well as one of the components for the production of explosives.
For granular calcium nitrate is used method of low-temperature neutralization of nitric acid, natural limestone or limestone products processing.
Granulated calcium nitrate with the addition of urea has many advantages compared to crystalline calcium nitrate:

Nitrate calcium - calcium nitrate, calcium nitrate, Ca (NO3) 2-4H2O, nitrate nitrogen fertilizer. Granulated, physiologically alkaline, hygroscopic, soluble in water, contains no less than 17,5% N. Obtained by neutralizing the weak nitric acid, chalk and limestone, or in the production nitrofosfatov. Used on soils of all types, especially with high acidity, for different crops (less effective in making a potato, tea, irrigated crops), for feedings and as a basic fertilizer.
